Top Reference Apps Performance in Qatar Q4 2022

During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top reference apps in Qatar showed varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, reveals key insights into the app market in this category.

Metrash2 from the Ministry of Interior - Qatar saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads. Starting at 15K in late September, the app peaked at 27K in mid-October, before experiencing a decline to around 6K in late November. Downloads picked up again in December, reaching 26K in the last week. Active users for the app remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 101K to 118K by the end of December.

Google Translate, published by Google, maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter. Starting at approximately 4.4K, the app's downloads saw a minor increase, peaking at 6.2K in the final week of December. Active users remained steady around the 325K mark, with a slight dip in late November before recovering to 323K in December.

Athkar - أذكار from fares.net experienced modest weekly revenue, peaking at $182 in late October. Weekly downloads for the app remained stable, averaging around 350 downloads per week. Active users hovered between 7.5K and 8.1K, showing little variation throughout the quarter.

Quran Majeed – القران الكريم by Pakistan Data Management Services showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, with a notable peak of $329 in late October. Downloads for the app were consistent, generally ranging between 1.1K and 1.4K. Active users saw a gradual rise from 16K in late September to 18K by the end of December.

Finally, النيابة العامة (QPP) had relatively low download numbers, fluctuating between 191 and 481 throughout the quarter. There were no significant changes in active users.
